Nestwell for Pros

How much Pros make

What a job pays through Nestwell in Denver, what a week can look like, and when the money reaches you. The figures come from the same price list the app uses, at today’s Denver rates.

Pay

What a clean pays

Each job has one price. A clean is set by the size of the home and the kind of clean: a 3 bed, 2 bath standard clean pays $129.75; it’s booked for about 3½ hours, and how long it takes is up to you. The pay is on every offer before you accept, and that figure is what you get.

Each kind of clean has a base pay plus an amount per bedroom and per bathroom. Extras the customer adds, like inside the oven or a load of laundry, pay a fixed amount each and add time. Hard-to-fill jobs are re-offered at higher pay, up to about a quarter more. Tips are on top.

Examples, not a promise. Gross pay for the job: booked ahead, no extras, no tip, before travel, supplies and taxes. Time booked is what the job is scheduled for; how long it takes is up to you. Rates in Denver can change; the offer is always the figure that counts.

Other kinds of work

What other kinds of work pay

A week

What a week can look like

Your week adds up from the jobs you take. Here are 3 ways it can go, using only the jobs in the tables above.

A few mornings a week

8 jobs, about 23½ hours booked. Mostly smaller homes.

  • 4 × $105: standard clean, 2 bed, 1 bath
  • 2 × $129.75: standard clean, 3 bed, 2 bath
  • 2 × $91.50: standard clean, 1 bed, 1 bath

4 × $105 + 2 × $129.75 + 2 × $91.50 = $862.50

Most weekdays

15 jobs, about 44½ hours booked. With 2 deep cleans.

  • 8 × $91.50: standard clean, 1 bed, 1 bath
  • 5 × $105: standard clean, 2 bed, 1 bath
  • 2 × $212.25: deep clean, 3 bed, 2 bath

8 × $91.50 + 5 × $105 + 2 × $212.25 = $1,681.50

Full weeks

22 jobs, about 51½ hours booked. Mostly apartments.

  • 10 × $91.50: standard clean, 1 bed, 1 bath
  • 8 × $78: standard clean, studio
  • 4 × $105: standard clean, 2 bed, 1 bath

10 × $91.50 + 8 × $78 + 4 × $105 = $1,959

Examples, not a promise. Hours are booked time, before travel between homes. How many jobs reach you depends on bookings in your area and the hours and distance you set. Tips and the same-day bonus are on top.

You set the days, the hours and how far you’ll go. Change any of them any time.

Tips

Tips are 100% yours

Customers can tip in the app after the job. Every cent goes to you, on top of the job’s pay, and it goes out with the job in your weekly payout.

Same-day

Same-day jobs pay more

A same-day job pays about a third more than the same job booked ahead. The bonus is in the pay on the offer. A 2 bed, 1 bath standard clean pays $105 booked ahead and $140 same day, for the same 2 h 50 min booked.

Same-day offers stay open 90 seconds. Switch on “available now” when you want them, and off when you don’t.

Your business

What’s not included

You run your own business, and the pay on the offer is for the job itself.

  • Travel. You get yourself to each home. You set how far you’ll go, and the offer shows the distance.
  • Supplies and equipment. You choose them, you bring them, and you’re responsible for them. Nestwell doesn’t provide or reimburse them.
  • Taxes. You’re an independent contractor, so Nestwell doesn’t withhold taxes. We send you a 1099 at year end, and you handle your own income and self-employment taxes.

This is general information, not legal or tax advice. A tax professional can help with your own situation.

Questions

Questions about pay

More in Pro support, or message support in the app.

How much does a job pay?

It depends on the size of the home and the kind of clean, and the pay is on every offer before you accept. At today’s Denver rates a 3 bed, 2 bath standard clean pays $129.75 and a deep clean of the same home pays $212.25. A same-day job pays about a third more than the same job booked ahead. Tips are 100% yours.

Do you take a cut of tips?

No. You keep 100% of tips.

When do I get paid?

Weekly. Finished jobs go out in your next weekly payout, with tips on top. You add your payout details during onboarding. Nestwell doesn’t see your account number.

How do jobs reach me?

When a customer books, we send the job to a few nearby Pros at once, with the pay, the size of the home, the extras and whether there are pets. The first to accept gets it. Each offer stays open for a short time so the customer isn’t left waiting: 10 minutes for a scheduled clean, 90 seconds for same-day. If nobody takes it, it goes to more Pros. You can always pass on an offer. It never counts against you.

What if nobody takes a job?

We offer it to more Pros and raise the pay, up to about a quarter more than the starting figure. If you passed on it earlier, you’ll see it again at the higher rate.

Am I an employee?

No. You are an independent contractor running your own business. You choose which jobs to accept, set your own hours and area, bring your own supplies and equipment, and can work for other companies and clients at the same time. You are paid per job. Nestwell does not withhold taxes; you are responsible for your own taxes and any business license that applies where you work. This is general information, not legal or tax advice.
